California’s North Lake Tahoe includes areas from Tahoe City east to Brockway Shores at the Nevada border. Lakefronts enjoy views spanning Lake Tahoe’s full length with the mountain peaks of Desolation Wilderness and Sawtooth Ridge and the expanse of East Shore down to Heavenly Ski Resort. Many North Shore lakefronts have sandy beaches and commercial pockets with excellent restaurants are nearby. Just uphill from all locations is National Forest Service land with its vast trail network for hiking, mountain biking and xc skiing.
