Northstar California Ski Resort offers 3170 skiable acres of impeccably groomed runs, variety of terrain parks and exciting tree skiing. 13% beginner, 60% intermediate, and 27% advanced terrain has something for everyone. Northstar California’s Nordic center rents fat tired electric bikes, xc skis and snowshoes to access its 35 K groomed trails. Summer fun on the resort’s mountain includes mountain biking and hiking. Take the gondola for easy access.

Northstar Golf Course, designed by Robert Muir Graves plays like two distinctly different courses. The front nine’s wide fairways, large undulating greens and expansive vistas of the Sierra Crest and Martis Valley contrasts with the back nine. 10 through 18 have narrow tree lined fairways, numerous carries, and smaller greens.

Tompkins Memorial Trail (The TMT) is a popular hiking and mountain biking maintained trail system connects Northstar residential open spaces to Northstar Village, US Forest Land and circumvents and Martis Valley. 

Northstar Village winter ice skating and summer rollerskating rink is enjoyed by young and old. Surrounding the rink are cabana lounges, many with a fire pits and a performance stage at one end hosts music venues on weekends during winter months. A variety of dining and shopping options also found in the Village.

Northstar essentially has three neighborhoods. 

Northstar Property Owners Association (NPOA) membership is comprised of 810 single family residents and 672 condominiums located from Martis Valley to Northstar’s ski runs. For just $1200/yr NPOA members have access to year round outdoor lap pool, large summer pool and a baby pool, plus three outdoor hot tubs. Tennis and pickle ball courts with an onsite pro offers scheduling, lessons, and equipment rentals. Fitness facility has free weights, universal weights, aerobic stations and stretching mats. An arcade for the rainy days or a break from the sun. The Adult Center with fireplace, couches, and soft chairs is a great place to meet, borrow a book, reserve for an event, or simply use as an alternative office. Summer and winter shuttle service to Northstar Village and Rec Center is provided by Vail for NPOA members, a cooperative service minimizing the need for a vehicle while in Northstar. Northstar Village condominiums offer a unique experience, a “Cure for the Common Vacation” and “The Way it Should Be.” Ski in/out convenience, choice of dining and shopping options a stroll away, weekly concerts at the ice skating rink and a specialty grocery store for essentials. Park in the underground lot, ride the elevator, and just enjoy all the amenities.
