Donner Lake Lakefronts

Donner Lake, the “Jewel of the Sierra” has maintained its classic mountain resort atmosphere and offers lakefront properties less expensive than those at Lake Tahoe. Boating, swimming, and kayaking in this deep clean lake right from your back yard is a fabulous lifestyle. Many properties have piers or are near the numerous public piers. The lake level is lowered each winter by opening the dam protecting piers and property from winter storm waves. 

Donner Memorial State Park borders the southeastern end of the lake and West End Beach, a gated beach with recreational facilities where each year fireworks are launched and can be viewed from almost every Donner Lake location.
